The Zip Vest with Basic Sleeves is a slightly fitted jacket with space for a sweater underneath. It has a high collar and a zipper in the front. It does not have a lining. The instructions also describe how to make the ZIP Vest without sleeves.

The pattern is designed for woven fabric types.
Choose fabric that has some structure. If you're unsure about fabric choice, fabric types like denim, canvas, wool, faux leather or a sturdy twill weave, for example, work well for this sleeve. If you choose leather or faux leather, you will need seam tape to hold the seam allowance in place.
